§ 14-206. Sales of articles; time restriction.
(a)
A pawnbroker shall in no way alter, destroy, conceal, give away, sell, trade, or dispose of any secondhand item for at least 20 days after making out and delivering to the Gilbert Police Department the report required by section 14-204.
(b)
A secondhand dealer shall in no way alter, destroy, conceal, give away, sell, trade, or dispose of any secondhand item for at least ten days after making out and delivering to the Gilbert Police Department the report required by section 14-204.
(c)
Pawnbrokers, junk dealers and secondhand dealers shall record the description of every article sold for an amount of $100.00 or more. The name and address of the purchaser of such article shall also be recorded. This record shall be held for at least six months after the sale.
