§ 62-66. Presumption in reference to illegal parking.

In any prosecution charging a violation of this article, proof that the particular vehicle described in the complaint was parked in violation of this article, together with proof that the defendant named in the complaint was, at the time of such parking, the registered owner of such vehicle shall be prima facie responsible for such violation and subject to penalty for the violation. The provisions of this article shall apply to all registered owners of a vehicle, who shall be jointly and severally liable for such a violation and subject to penalty for the violation.
