§ 1-95. Addressing the council.

The public, in accord with other provisions of this Code, shall have the right to address the council during public hearings and to petition the council at the call to the public, the time for which to be prescribed by the council. Otherwise, any person wishing to address any regular or special meeting of the council shall obtain consent of the mayor or consent of a majority of the councilmembers present. The mayor may limit repetitive comments made during the course of public hearing or meeting.
